Making a Difference

You and I know that there are lot of Human Resource Agencies. We did a research and a survey regarding currently established Human Resource Agencies in all around the world to find out how we can be different to the other agencies. We got mix responses but however, we felt that people is losing faith on the agencies as we heard the worse stories from the people. We thought of posting some of the responses for your own knowledge.

"I know a friend of mine whose sister was sent by an agency to Middle East for housemaid job. He hadn't heard from her since then. It's been a year and he doesn't know whether she's alive or not"- Sunil, Sri Lanka

" My friend got abused in the job. She was a carer in Oman but she got abused every day."- Niresha, Melbourne

Called numerous times and fobbed off with nonsense like the agency was in the middle of an audit, then they were away on business (the whole agency?), moving premises etc. etc.  The website makes them look like a leading agency, but the office was small and grotty and staffed by three people in jeans / t-shirts lounging around doing nothing!"-Lucy, Melbourne

Listening to these stories was hard for us but it was quite an experience. These were unfortunate people who gave it all to make a better life for their families and for them. It is important for us to deliver what we say we are going to deliver for them, skills and a job. Not only that, it is also important that we give them a job that respects them for who they are.

An Open Window for the Disadvantaged People

Help and Employ me is a recently developed organisation for the disadvantaged people particularly in the Asian region is providing a range of training to create a skill workforce targeting potential organisations all over the world.

Recently, there has been high demand of jobs created in the Middle eastern countries such as in UAE, Saudi Arabia and other international markets. It has been since long workers from different countries leave their own motherland to these countries without having any prior knowledge for the trades they are willing to work abroad.

A recent story in Dubai attracts the attention of Help and Employ Me. Abdur Rahman from India recently has spend nearly a 80,000 rupees (Indian Currency) to go to UAE for a construction work. He was motivated from his friends that if h goes t UAE he will be able to earn a lot and bring about a light of sun in their family with a higher income. Abdur Rahman did not have any prior knowledge of working in construction sites or as a the trade called bricklayer.

The condition at UAE was not as rosy as Abdur Rahman would have been dreaming. When he arrived at the first in his workplace in one of the renowned engineering company he was asked about what skill does he have as a bricklayer. He ended up being quiet and unsatisfactory results. The next moment he was rejected to the entry to the organisation and his Visa to stay there was cancelled. He had leave back home loosin all the savings he had spent to go there.

We took the case seriosuly and asked Abdur Rahman regarding his story and what was the main reason behind his failure journey to UAE. The answer was he was not trained to become a bricklayer. He never did anykind of work like that. According to his situation we suggested to get admission to our company so that we could offer him some training which will make him skilled and prepare enough to work abroad. On the other hand our communication and liason department contacted the organisation Abdur Rahman previously tried to work with and convinced them with appropriate documents that reveals tat Abdur Rahman is now a professional brick layer.

After 4 months and 6 months of practical and theoretical training Abdur Rahman left for UAE in a joint contract and agreement between his organisation and Help and Employ me Today he is able to send more than 10,000 Rupees to his family and leading a happy life.

Who are we? And what do we do?
We are a social company working with the society giving what we have to HELP and get them employed. We are very passionate working on to address the issue of unemployment among the less fortunate people particularly those with less job opportunity due to less education and also limited skill know-how.

We believe that you will come across (atleast once) people that you know who are currently without a job, trying so hard to earn money to buy food. But what resources are available for them? What can we do with them? How can we create a better future for them? And lastly how can we help them?

Why do we care?
It lies within our promise to educate and polish people’s skills. We believe that by getting yourself employed, you will become more responsible and increase your general knowledge on ‘how to live a better life for tomorrow’.  Through our research from key learning paper written by Peter Henson from Department of Employment and Training, Western Australia; It is the belief of the Western Australian Department of Employment and Training in Perth that achieving economic independence through employment can play a vital role in reducing crime within our community. Henson also stated that one of the reason to for many individuals to commit crime is that they are caught in poverty and do not have enough money to provide for their needs. (Please refer to reference link 1)

We can assure you that being employee will be the best thing ever happen in your life, you will learn more on social skills as well as time management. According to The United Nations Human Development Index report ranks the Australian quality of life as second in the world, ahead of Norway. These were taken based on measures of standards of living, longevity, health, knowledge and economic factors. So planned ahead, get yourself in our training sessions and be the first to be employed. You will never know what you are actually good at. (Please refer to reference link 2)
